Appiombo

The photographic project and the artistic residency revolved around the objects collected in the Museo ‘L Zuf in Vione, Valle Camonica. The museum opened to the public in 1987, thanks to the idea of Maestro Dino Marino Tognali to collect, together with his pupils, agricultural and everyday tools from the past. The collection is located in the premises of the Elementary School of Vione, Brescia.

The project was carried out in collaboration with the L’Zuf Museum in Vione and the Ca’Mon Centre in Monno as part of Appena fuori dell’ordinario, curated by Elena Turetti and funded by the Direzione Generale Creatività Contemporanea of the Ministry of Culture.

What happens when you use the plumb line to straighten a mountain?

The work represents the second chapter of the mountain’s trilogy, which began in Garda di Sonico in a residence curated by Jose Pedro Cortes, Elena Turetti and Master in Photography. The project is part of a trilogy, integrated and completed in Lozio (BS) during the Falia * artistic residency.
